New Year in Val Gardena is just spectacular

As the New Year nears Val Gardena springs into action and organises numerous parties and events! All the valley villages await you to spend together hours of fun and joy.
In Ortisei the final day of the year sees the traditional and spectacular torchlit descent by the Ski and Snowboard School. Following on there is a thrilling pyrotechnical show. And things do not end from there – from 19.00 in the centre of Ortisei the dancing begins – yes, New year “open air” is our style.
Also in S. Cristina and Selva Gardena everone is invited out of doors: gastronomic stands are full of succulent tastes – and if the beat of the music is not enough to warm you up there is always a mulled wine or two to do the trick! And why not join the “partyhopping” trend – as you’ve guessed this involves moving from one village to another to sample the party moods in an all embracing way – a memorable and joyous way to see in 2015.
And surprise surprise! To ease your party movements the 3 valley villages are served by a special bus service until 4.30. in the morning!
Still have energy reserves to spare? Well. There are torchlit and firework displays galore on the 1st and 2nd January – again organised by the Ski and Snowboard Schools in S. Cristina and Selva Gardena.
