Safety weekends with the Alpine guides
The uphill lifts
close for the end of season on 6th April 2014. After this date however is the
best period to enjoy the Dolomites landscape – this thanks to alpine skiing
opportunities. There will be abundant snow until Easter this year and a great
number of routes are available between mountain passes and leading to amazing
peaks from where you enjoy wonderful panoramic views and great downhill
descents.
Safety weekends: the Catores Alpine school and Val Gardena Mountain Guide Association
offer alpine ski excursions of an average difficulty, ski tours, and descents through fresh snow or ‘firn’ terrain. During the excursions, instruction is given on how to use Avalanche Victim Search equipment correctly and how to interpret snow conditions and the risk of avalanche.
