„Mountain Christmas“ Bergweihnacht in
Wolkenstein, ab dem 4. Dezember 2015
Etwas sehr
einzigartiges hat man sich in Wolkenstein für die bevorstehende Weihnachtszeit
ausgedacht. Das idyllische Bergdorf Wolkenstein liegt im Herzen der Dolomiten
und bietet als höchstgelegene Grödner Ortschaft, durch die Anbindung an die
legendäre „Sellaronda“, Ski-Spaß auf über 500 Pistenkilometern. Ein Hauch von
Pistenflair wird vom 4. Dezember 2015 bis 6. Januar 2016 in Form einer
originellen weihnachtlichen Kabinenbahn ins Dorfzentrum von Wolkenstein
gebracht werden. Es entsteht eine Lichterkette an welcher aus Holz kunstvoll
angefertigte Seilbahngondeln hängen werden. Die einmalige Atmosphäre, der Duft
von Lebkuchen und Glühwein, der Glanz von Weihnachtskugeln und
Christbaumschmuck sowie der Klang von Weihnachtsweisen und Adventsliedern
werden alle Herzen erfreuen und staunende Kinderaugen zum Leuchten bringen. Am
Kirchplatz findet eine Krippenausstellung ihren Platz und an der Hauptstraße leuchtet
an jedem Tag ein neues Fenster vom Adventkalender auf.

Selva di Val Gardena sta
predisponendo qualcosa di molto particolare per il prossimo Natale.
Il piccolo paese di montagna che
si trova nel cuore delle Dolomiti, ai piedi del massiccio del Sella, è il
comune più alto della Val Gardena e tramite la sua connessione al leggendario
Ski-tour "Sella Ronda", offre ai suoi ospiti appassionati di sci, divertimento
su oltre 500 km di piste.
Per la prima volta, da
quest'anno, le piste da sci saranno idealmente trasferite nel centro del paese
di Selva. Dal 4 dicembre al 6 gennaio, lungo una striscia continua di luci
lunga 350 metri saranno appese piccole cabine di legno, inoltre sarà ricreato un
tipico paese di montagna, con casette costruite in legno e pietra, proprio come
i masi di una volta. Su questo mercatino molto particolare sarà possibile
gustare: i dolci di frutta secca come il tradizionale “Zelten” o il
“Weihnachtsstollen”, i gustosi biscotti di pan pepato “Lebkuchen” o di pasta
frolla “Spitzbuben”, la cioccolata di produzione artigianale, inoltre non può
mancare il vin brulé o il brulé di mela o il brulé di sambuco e si potranno acquistare
oggetti unici come i cuscini di trucioli di cirmolo gardenese, le pantofole in
lana cotta, le tradizionali sculture in legno e tanti altri oggetti per
decorare il prossimo Natale.
Una moltitudine di luci
scintillanti insieme alle dolci melodie del Natale allieteranno i cuori e
porteranno gioia e stupore negli occhi di grandi e piccini.
Inoltre, la tradizionale arte
della scultura gardenese troverà spazio in una bella mostra di presepi in
piazza della chiesa e 24 finestrelle del calendario d’Avvento saranno di giorno
in giorno illuminate davanti a altrettanti esercizi lungo la via principale di
Selva.

Selva Val Gardena is getting ready for a very special
Christmas.
The idyllic village of Selva, in the heart of the
Dolomites, at the foot of the majestic Sella mountain group, is, at 1550 metres
above sea level, the highest town in Val Gardena. With its direct connection to
the legendary ski tour 'Sella Ronda', it offers 500km of perfectly prepared
slopes for every ski lover.
This Christmas in Selva, from the 4th of December
until the 6th of January, an old fashioned cable car of miniature wooden
cabins, shining with fairy lights, can be found hanging above a magical
Christmas village. A typical mountain hamlet will be brought to life with
traditional huts of stone and rustic wood, like those of times gone by.
At this very original Christmas market you can taste
sweet dried fruitcakes like the traditional 'Zelten' or Christmas 'Stollen',
yummy gingerbread biscuits 'Lebkuchen', or scrumptious 'Spitzbuben' biscuits,
luscious artisan chocolates and other typical mountain delicacies.
Strolling through the village you can stop to try a
steaming hot mug of mulled wine or warm mulled apple drink, and you can easily
find the perfect Christmas gift such as sweet scented pine pillows, cosy
mountain slippers, warm woolly socks, wooden nativity scenes, and many other
items to decorate your mountain Christmas.

Christmas melodies will be sure to light up the hearts of young and old alike.
Coinciding with the Mountain Christmas market, the
traditional art of wood carving can be discovered in an exquisite display of
nativity scenes in the church square. Also, each day of Christmas, along the
main street of Selva, one window of the Advent calendar will be illuminated.
